CBU Library

BibliotecaThe Library of the Central Bank of Uruguay (CBU) was founded in 1967, starting with a collection of books that belonged to the Bank of the Republic (Banco de la República in Spanish).  The library collection grew throughout the years and currently the library has approximately 7,700 volumes, 200 newspapers, a CD Rom database, international and national publications, along with CBU publications.

The library specializes in Economics and focuses on monetary issues, finances, statistics, econometrics, and economic theory.  It also supports the CBU in its functions, and open its doors to researchers from other institutions, professionals, and economics and finance students.

Survey of CBU Library Users on the Specialized Library

The CBU's Specialized Library, part of the agenda of Quality in Economics Consultancy, is supporting the initiatives of Plan 2016.  In order to do so, the Library requests users to complete a survey that will provide useful information for the design of its strategy.
Currently, we are asking the library’s external users to give us their insight and level of  satisfaction with the library's services.  The data collected will be key to identifying strengths in the service and areas for improvement.
Completing the survey takes approximately 5 minutes, and it will be available until Friday, December 18.  We thank you in advance for your valuable cooperation with this issue.
