On November 28, 2012, the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Uruguay (CBU) approved the content and dissemination of two documents describing the CBU's public commitment with adopting best international practices in central bank communication. (R.D. 332/2012).
The documents are titled “General Principles Guiding CBU's Best Practices in Public Communication (Principios generales que orientan las prácticas de comunicación pública del Banco Central del Uruguay), and “Best Practices in CBU's Public Communication” (Practicas de comunicación pública del Banco Central del Uruguay).
These documents are part of the CBU'S transparent public commitment that includes all CBU employees working jointly to help the media fulfill common goals.
